Pianist and composer Junko Sakura created this solo piano piece during her travels in France, Belgium, and the Netherlands, and recorded it with the gentle and warm tone of a 100-year-old Bösendorfer, a famous instrument.
Born in Oita Prefecture, Japan, she began playing the piano at the age of three. Since childhood, she has been inspired by the sounds and scenery of nature to write poetry and music. Graduated from Kagoshima International University, Department of Music, and completed the piano course at the graduate school. Studied in Vienna. Studied under Prof. Grate Dihiler at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna. After returning to Japan, studied under pianist Fujiko Hemming. 2004-2010 based in Paris, France, performed internationally in Japan, France, Holland, Belgium, Singapore, China, etc. 2006 Akira Kurosawa, Grand Prix winner of the short story competition, Belgian film, Ryunosuke Akutagawa Became an insert song for “Otomi.” With his own compositions, he expresses the beauty of nature and the innermost feelings of the heart, and speaks to all people regardless of national borders and race.
