[Classical Department Store “Here’s What Everyone Loves” – Concerto Edition No. 2] Here’s What Everyone Loves When it comes to classical music, 100 pieces and 100 titles are the first 100 pieces and 100 titles! The world’s oldest classical label, Deutsche Grammophon, which boasts a history of over 120 years, and Decca (including the former Philips), which will celebrate its 90th anniversary in 2019 and is home to conductor Seiji Ozawa, pianist Mitsuko Uchida, and other greats. The series of evergreen masterpieces from both Decca and Philips labels will be released! We conducted a survey of about 25,000 people in the classical music industry and members of our newsletter. The campaign will release 20 titles in each genre every two weeks for a total of 100 titles. The campaign features two of the most popular concertos by Mendelssohn and Tchaikovsky, performed by Milshteyn, one of the most famous violinists of the 20th century, with the soft backing of Abbado and the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra. Milshtein’s flawless technique and luminous beauty of tone make for a fragrant performance that conveys the sublime beauty inherent in both pieces. [Performed by] Natan Milshtein (violin), Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra, Claudio Abbado (conductor), recorded in Vienna in September 1972 (1) and March 1973 (2) ●SHM-CD specification ●green color label coating ●commentary ●booklet
