This is the fifth single release by JUNNA, ace vocalist of Valkyrie. The title track “Umi to Shinju” (Sea and Pearl) is the opening theme for the TV anime “The Pirate Princess” produced by Yuki Kajiura, which will start airing in October! The TV anime “Princess Pirate” is a completely original animation with a unique world view of 18th century, princess, samurai, and pirates, created by Production I.G, which continues to produce high quality works representing Japan such as the “Ghost in the Shell” series, and Kazuto Nakazawa, director of “B: The Biginning”. This is a completely original animation film. The film depicts the journey and growth of the heroine Fena, who is at the mercy of her own destiny. The album contains 4 songs including “the sea and a pearl” and “the sea and a pearl” (English Ver.), plus 3 karaoke tracks. The jacket (Table 1) is a photograph taken by JUNNA, and (Table 4) is an anime design.
