Gearbox presents a new album by trumpeter Dan Rosenboom, whose father is experimental music master David Rosenboom. In addition to his own roots in improvised and classical music, Rosenboom’s ambitious sound is influenced by a wide range of artists from Miles Davis and Ornette Coleman to Frank Zappa and Square Pusher. In addition to Jeff Babko on production/keyboards, the band features many of the West Coast’s finest, including David Vinay (Sax), Tim Lefebvre (Ba), and Vinnie Caliuta (Dr).
