The “Classical Department Store” series is an encore project of the “Classical Department Store” series, which collects the best evergreen masterpieces in terms of popularity and quality from both labels. The 50 titles will be released, 10 for each genre and 10 for each of the 100 titles in the “Classical Department Store” series that were ranked as runners-up in popularity in their respective genres. As with the previous 100 titles in the “Classical Department Store” series, the CD booklet includes a contribution by a popular novelist, “Me and Classics. The novelists introduce how they enjoy classical music. All of the CDs feature new, concise and easy-to-understand music commentary manuscripts. High-quality SHM-CD & green-colored label coatings are used to bring out the full potential of the best masters used. Symphony No. 7, which is an exquisite fusion of Western style and folk elements, and Symphony No. 8, which sublimates the folkloric colors of Bohemia into pure music…both are masterpieces filled to the brim with Dvořák’s character. The complete symphonies by the late conductor Kertesz and the London Symphony Orchestra are a legacy to be listened to. The naturalistic, dense, and full performance radiates a unique charm.
