In the winter of 2014, violinist Yukihiro Nishimoto launched “VIOLINable – Discovery”, a program that combines performances of the complete Beethoven sonatas and a music program to support the recovery from the Great East Japan Earthquake. This is the long-awaited third album following the first two albums, which recorded the memorable first concert and the second one, which recorded the second concert. The program centering on Beethoven’s Violin Sonata No. 3 is full of highlights. The lively exchanges with pianist Atsushi Yamanaka are also noteworthy.
