Yo-Yo Ma will join the New York-based chamber orchestra “The Nights,” which has attracted the attention of many music fans for its creative musical performances that draw on a wide range of musical experiences, from baroque to jazz, musicals, and world music. Yo-Yo Ma will perform the cello concerto “Azul” by Argentine composer Osvaldo Golijov (b.1960) and the cello and orchestra arrangement of Dvořák’s “Song to the Moon” from his opera “Rusalka” as soloist.
