Wataru Sato, a Japanese pianist and multi-composer, studied under Lubomyr Melnyk, the “world’s fastest” pianist on the prestigious post-classical label Erased Tapes, and has now released his latest string album with a string quartet. The recording space of the hall at Jomyouji temple in Kamakura is packaged three-dimensionally with sound and images. (C)RS
