[Mitsuko Uchida’s recordings of Mozart’s complete piano concertos began in 1985 with the support of the English Chamber Orchestra, conducted by Tate, who describes the orchestra as “an orchestra that encourages me to express myself. The recording includes No. 21, the second movement of which was used in the film “Burnt in a Bleak Way,” and No. 23, which has a charming slow movement in a minor key. This is a wonderful Mozart, played vividly with a beautiful touch and flowing sound. Rubidium clock cutting.
