On October 20 and 21, 1978, the band played a show that later became legendary at the Roppongi Pit Inn. The album “Guitar Workshop” released the previous year had been a big hit, and there was much demand for a follow-up album. The two-day show and the live recording “Guitar Workshop Vol. 2 Live” were planned to meet this demand. The live recording, “Guitar Workshop Vol. 2 Live,” was a live recording of the two days’ performances, and its five songs may not have been enough for fans. This time, some of the outtakes that could not be heard on the original album have been remastered and released as an album!
