This is the fifth release in this series, which began in 2008. The Okazaki-Ito duo, both winners of the Munich International Competition, share a common musical language. Their performances, full of a sense of composition with noble tones, show the utopia of chamber music. This time, the duo recorded two famous French sonatas, Okazaki’s specialty, and Beethoven’s early masterpieces, which form the core of the series. The Okasaki-Itoh duo’s sublime and high-spirited performances are at the peak of their fertile season.
