June Taber’s first solo album is now available for the first time in Japan. June Taber’s first solo album is a cover of “The Band Played Waltzing Matilda,” a classic by Scottish SSW Eric Bogle, and “Pull Down Lad Ladder,” written by John Tams, an unknown key figure in the UK folk rock scene. With the exception of a cover of Scottish SSW Eric Bogle’s classic “The Band Played Waltzing Matilda” and “Pull Down Lads” by John Tams, an unknown important figure in the UK folk rock scene, the album features a lineup of gems of traditional songs with simple arrangements. Traditional songs with simple arrangements are lined up. The a cappella works, delicately sung by a young genius with a voice full of expression and clarity, are truly a sight to behold.
