Debut album by Brazilian heavy metal band Icon of Sin. The core of the band is Rafael Mendes (Vo), a well-known Brazilian YouTuber. Rafael’s video “If Bruce Dickinson (Iron Maiden) sang ________” became a topic of conversation because of his Bruce Dickinson-like singing voice, and it has been featured on music news sites in Japan. Frontiers Records in Italy, which took notice of Rafael’s voice, introduced him to Sergio Mazur (G) of Sembrandt, a Brazilian heavy metal band from the same label, and Marcelo Gerbucke (G) of Landfall, among others, and Icon of Sin was formed. This is heavy metal on the high road, making the most of Rafael Mendez’s (Vo) “Bruce Dickinson look-alike voice. The band does not just imitate the voice of Bruce Dickinson, but advocates the royal road sound of the 80’s and beyond, with Rafael singing powerful songs with great power.
