[Classical Department Store “Here’s What Everyone Loves” No.1 Instrumental Music] Here’s What Everyone Loves When it comes to classical music, we start with these 100 pieces of music and 100 titles! The world’s oldest classical label, Deutsche Grammophon, which boasts a history of over 120 years, and Decca (including the former Philips), which will celebrate its 90th anniversary in 2019 and is home to conductor Seiji Ozawa, pianist Mitsuko Uchida, and other greats. The series of evergreen masterpieces from both Decca and Philips labels will be released! We conducted a survey of about 25,000 people in the classical music industry and members of our newsletter. The campaign will feature 100 titles, 20 from each genre, to be released every two weeks. The campaign will feature “Tempest,” a brilliant contrast of contemplation and stormy intensity; “Waldstein,” a magnificent masterpiece from the middle period; and “Farewell,” which psychologically describes Beethoven’s farewell to Archduke Rudolph. The three important piano sonatas by Beethoven are performed by Guilleris, who combines modern intelligence with romantic poetic sentiment. This album bears the stamp of the artistry he reached in his later years. [Performed by Emile Gilleris (piano) Recorded: January 1972 (2), December 1974 (3), October 1981 (1) Berlin – SHM-CD format – Green color label coated – Commentary included – Booklet
