Bolt Thrower, a well-known UK death metal heavyweight, reissues their late album! This is the 6th album released in 1998. After repeated troubles with Year Acre, Bolt Thrower moved to Metal Blade. The tempo of the songs was slowed down and the intensity of the riffs, which could be said to be Bolt Thrower’s traditional style, was maintained while pursuing heaviness. This style has greatly influenced young bands under the influence of the old school death metal revival/influence that is gaining momentum around the world in the late 2010s, and is being reevaluated as a template for a certain type of music. The non-metal but catchy guitar phrases are one of the highlights of the album.
