Previously unreleased live performance by B.B. King, the very King of the Blues! B.B., who was 45 years old at the time, performed at the Showcase Lounge in Oakland, California on February 15, 1971. There are many live recordings from this period, but this one is more valuable because it was performed just before his first visit to Japan on March 4 & 7, 1971 (released as “Live In Japan”). The back-up members and the program are the same as the 18 best songs at that time, but many famous songs that were not performed in Japan are also included.
