The Schnittger organ of St. Ludgeri Church in Norden is known as one of the most famous instruments in northern Germany. Yuichiro Shiina, who is highly acclaimed in Europe, is well versed in the characteristics of this instrument, which reflects the history of the church with its many additions and shows a different face depending on where you hear it, and demonstrates a deep understanding of the works and outstanding performance technique. Shiina, who has recently completed an 11-year tour of the complete Bach organ works, will once again show us the astonishing diversity of Bach’s organ works, from chorale works to trio sonatas and magnificent preludes and fugues.
