The TRIGON SnowWhite MKII is a High-End preamplifier with four or five high-level inputs (depending on user configuration), completely controlled by a sophisticated microprocessor. The operational functions of the SnowWhite MKII are accessible from the front panel or with the optional IR remote control (Trigon Director). The front panels dimmable LED display informs you of the unit’s current status and active in-use configuration.
The volume is controlled by a special D/A converter and as such is both technically and sonically far superior to a traditional volume potentiometer. This type of volume control provides precise channel tracking across the range, preventing loss of focus or image shift. The SnowWhite is equipped with an external power supply applying regulated direct current to the preamplifier which houses the voltage regulation for the amplifier stages. Thus, contamination from AC and hum can be effectively prevented.
The SnowWhite MKII has also been engineered for the modern HiFi set-up and employs a set of four uber high performance digital inputs, offering 2 x Optical and 2 x Coax connections up to 24Bit/192Khz for complete flexibility without compromise.
