To celebrate the 40th anniversary for The Sisters Of Mercy’s debut album ‘First And Last And Always’, a 4LP black and red marble coloured vinyl set is to be released on 4 July 2025., it includes the original album alongside the three EP’s that preceded its release – ‘Body & Soul’, ’Walk Away’ and ‘No Time To Cry’. Each EP features non-album bonus tracks. Formed in Leeds by guitarist Gary Marx and vocalist Andrew Eldritch in 1980, they released ‘First And Last And Always’ in March 1985 and is the culmination of five years of independent releases that saw them build up a large cult following.
