Description
Diam Piece is an album series by producer and master of ceremonies Diamond D. The third instalment in the series is said to be divided into three LPs, the first of which was entitled Initium: D now brings a hot-footed follow-up, in “3.33” form, to heavyset wax here. Boasting star cast features from KRS-One, Skyzoo, Bishop Lamont, Inspectah Deck and 38 Spesh among others, D’s pressurised hand makes interlinked chains of sample-rich coal deposits: ‘Casket Fresh’ and ‘Hyenas’ exemplify D’s booming but subtle sound.
