This is a collaboration of three talented musicians: Tatsuro Nishie, known as concertmaster of the New Japan Philharmonic; Rentaro Tomioka, who is active as principal of the Yomiuri Nippon Symphony Orchestra and the Welsh String Quartet; and Masashi Okada, who has performed widely in Japan and abroad since winning the first Japanese prize at the International Piano Competition by Liszt! The program includes a trio of Ravel and Rachmaninoff and a duo of Kodaly, and you will enjoy their colorful tones and the music sung with a thousand different expressions. *Recorded at Urayasu Music Hall Concert Hall, Chiba, August 3-5, 2020.
