[Crossover & Fusion 1000] The new “Crossover & Fusion 1000” series is a spin-off of the highly successful “Jazz Collection 1000” series launched in 2014. Like the Jazz Collection 1000 series, the new “Crossover & Fusion 1000” series is carefully selected from Sony Music’s extensive catalog, focusing on Columbia and RCA, the two major labels in the United States. The 100 titles (Volume 1: 50 titles released on April 27, Volume 2: 50 titles released on May 25) are released at the special price of 1,000 yen plus tax (1,500 yen plus tax for the 2-disc set). This is the first volume of the “dream unit” formed by Stanley Clarke, a superb bassist who worked with Return to Forever and others, and George Duke, a keyboard player who was also famous for his work with Frank Zappa.
