This is the debut album released in 1999 by Slipknot, a freakishly intense musical group from Iowa. The nine-member monster, consisting of vocals, two guitars, bass, drums, two percussionists, a DJ, and a sampler, produced a work that swirled with a tremendous sound image that shattered existing heavy music into tiny pieces.
