Debut full-length album from singer/songwriter Phoebe Bridgers, member of Boygenius whose debut EP was an instant hit in 2018.

The album’s title is a reference to the edited-for-TV version of the film The Big Lebowski. In the original, unedited version, Walter Sobchak (John Goodman) says, “Do you see what happens when you fuck a stranger in the ass?”; however, the line is changed in the edited-for-TV version to “Do you see what happens when you find a stranger in the Alps?”

She has performed with Conor Oberst, Julien Baker, City and Colour, Violent Femmes, and Mistki among others.
