Oyaide HSR-AG Silver Headshell Wires are crafted to complete excellence. Made in the continuous casting process, the 5N pure silver strands are casted by heating in an electric furnace until it liquefies and then cold-rolled. This results in a far superior performing lead.
Quality Design
The strands are configured in 7 lines to ensure a strong cross-sectional area and to minimise conductor resistance. Crafted using phosphor bronze, the rhodium-plated lead tip encourages a heightened level of adhesion with the contact pins.
Double-Silk Covering Insulator
The conductors are insulated with double-silk covering which helps release a clean signal transmission free from static electrical charge. Silk is a great insulating material as it resists electrical static charge unlike resin-based insulators like PVC or Teflon. The glass sleeve also provides additional insulating properties.
