In April 1977, under the message “THE SEAS MUST LIVE,” young people from Japan, the U.S., and Canada organized a benefit concert at the International Trade Fair Hall in Harumi, Tokyo. The first benefit concert in Japan, “Rolling Coconut Review Japan,” was held in April 1977 at the Harumi International Trade Fair Hall in Harumi, Tokyo, under the message “THE SEAS MUST LIVE. The concert was mixed and mastered for the first time in 40 years from the master, which was recorded on 16ch multi-tapes and miraculously left behind. The opening show on April 8, the first day of the event, featured the legendary Odetta, the “Queen of American Folk Music. The final morning show on the 10th, Mimi Fariña, is coupled with a performance of the quintessential American folk song.
