[Classical Department Store “Here’s What Everyone Loves” No.1 Instrumental Music] Here’s What Everyone Loves When it comes to classical music, we start with these 100 pieces of music and 100 titles! The world’s oldest classical label, Deutsche Grammophon, which boasts a history of over 120 years, and Decca (including the former Philips), which celebrates its 90th anniversary in 2019 and is home to conductor Seiji Ozawa, pianist Mitsuko Uchida and other masters of their craft. The series of evergreen masterpieces from both Decca and Philips labels will be released! We conducted a survey of about 25,000 people in the classical music industry and members of our newsletter. The campaign will release 20 titles in each genre every two weeks for a total of 100 titles. After winning the Chopin Competition in 1960, Polini took a break from performing, but then resumed recording. His Chopin “Exercises,” in which he demonstrated perfect technique and high musicality, astonished many people and made him known to the world. This masterpiece, with all of his knowledge, emotion, and intention, is still regarded as one of the milestones in the history of Chopin’s music.It was awarded the prize in the instrumental music category of the 10th Record Academy Awards in 1973.
