This series features three young players performing piano trios by three different composers. Ravel’s work, written in 1914, is light and romantic and seems to have nothing in common with the works of Shostakovich and Weinberg, but the 17-year-old Shostakovich implies that he knew Ravel, and this piano trio has a slight French flavor. The piano trio also has a slight French flavor. The performance is a centripetal performance by Genuchus on piano, Pritin, born in 1987 and a winner of the Wieniawski International Competition, and Buzlov on cello, who has also won prizes in more than 15 international competitions.Naxos Japan
