Born in 1991, 28-year-old, highly sought-after jazz singer/songwriter’s debut album in Japan (her second album in total in the U.S.) is a talented artist who won both the 2015 Thelonious Monk Competition and the 2013 Sarah Vaughan Jazz Competition. His 2017 debut album, A Social Call, was nominated for a 2018 Grammy. Of the 12 songs on the album, 8 are his own originals and the covers consist of Jon Hendrix, Erykah Badu, and Rachael Ferrell + 1 standard. Produced by Chris Dunn, as on the previous album.
