Cover Notes: ‘Home.S’ was recorded at Esbjörn Svensson’s home a few weeks before his death on 14 June 2008 and was found lying dormant on his hard drive for nearly a decade by his wife Eva Svensson. Consisting of nine piano pieces composed of original pieces and Svensson’s own melodic improvisations, this work speaks to the time with the dense air and refined sound of a personal space.
