With the increasing trend of loudspeakers with sloping tops, challenges arose when placing a super-tweeter, especially since it has to be arranged horizontally.
The solution? ELAC developed the 4Pi super-tweeter, designed to also fit on speakers with sloped tops. The pedestal was cleverly constructed by ELAC engineers so that the bottom section can be rotated, allowing the super-tweeter to always radiate horizontally. This ingenious construction has led to significantly improved functionality.
Placing the omnidirectional 4Pi Plus.2 V ribbon super-tweeter on top of your main, direct-radiating loudspeakers results in perfect spaciousness not found with any conventional loudspeaker. Equipped with flexible options for adjusting sensitivity and the lower cutoff frequency, the 4Pi Plus.2 V can be seamlessly integrated with virtually any loudspeaker. It enables the sound to break free from the loudspeakers and fill the entire room. All without the need for additional amplification.
