The new e1X line incorporates many ground-breaking designs from the Black series. Each e1X component is designed with great attention to detail, focusing on our unique input approach, DAC core performance and power amplifier technologies that optimise and maintain the purest signal quality. Built in a constrained layer damped chassis with high-grade aluminium defines the simple and elegant look.
The new e1X DAC/Control Preamp, based around our High Dynamic Resolution HDR-II core and high-speed Asynchronous Multi-Input Processor (AMiP) platform is Bel Canto’s most versatile DAC preamplifier.
Stream music through Ethernet or USB, a full suite of digital inputs, line level inputs, dedicated subwoofer output where you can also independently insert a low pass filter into the subwoofer output to help control sub levels. The filters are adjustable anywhere from 40Hz to 120Hz (in increments of 10Hz), depending on the low-frequency extension of your main speakers and the size of your subwoofer. The provision of these high-pass and low-pass filters is far-sighted, as it enables far superior integration of your main speakers with your subwoofer than would otherwise be possible.
The e1X also has a full MM/MC software controlled analog phono stage.
Features include software controlled Trim, Bass EQ, and subwoofer filter management. Roon Ready or DLNA control with Bel Canto Seek iOS APP to stream Tidal/MQA, Qobuz or your personal library.
The e1X also has fully optimised control for left and right balance adjustment, to enable you to fine tune the drive for the room perfectly.
