The logical development of the 9000Q preamplier raised the question of system expansion and thus led to the birth of the 9000P – the dedicated power amplier option for the 9000 series.
Technological Features
A key to the Audiolab performance is the Audiolab-standard CFB (Complementary Feedback) topology, which ensures superior linearity and excellent thermal stability, as the idle current is kept independent of the temperature of the output transistors. An all-new and custom specified 320VA toroidal transformer, followed by 4 x 15,000uF reservoir capacity (60,000uF in total), helps the amp to maintain firm control of the music whilst enabling excellent dynamic range.
Power and Performance
The 9000P power amplifier matches the 9000A with a dedicated 100W per channel into 8 ohms, making it the perfect like-for-like accompaniment for the 9000Q preamplifier.
However, following the success and acclaim of the Audiolab 8300MB mono power amplifier option, the 9000P offers dual functionality with bridged-mode functionality, thus converting it to a monoblock power amplifier that offers 300W into 8 ohms.
