The queen of jazz violinists, Naoko Terai’s new 2016 album is a melodious and mature work focusing on the beauty of music! This is her first self-produced work since her major label debut. This ambitious work was recorded by a strong cross-generational lineup including Masahiro Sayama, one of Japan’s leading pianists; Takahiro “matzz” Matsuoka, percussionist of Quasimodo; Ryo Arayama, a new-generation drummer born in the Heisei era; and Ken Kaneko, a talented bass player who newly joined the band for this album. Recorded December 1-2, 2015.
