Deutsche Grammophon The Best 1200″ VOL.2 is the first release of Herbert von Karajan and the Berlin Philharmonic’s “Beethoven: The Complete Symphonies,” recorded in the 1960s. Among the many masterpieces that Karajan produced with the golden orchestra of the Berlin Philharmonic as his partner, the “Ninth” recorded in 1962 is one of the best examples of his Beethoven performances and has been handed down to posterity as a masterpiece.
