Timothy has demonstrated his abilities as a principal orchestral player, chamber musician, and soloist both in Japan and abroad, and the theme of this album is “Rediscovering the Clarinet”. He has carefully selected pieces from a number of classical masterpieces and arranged them, either by himself or by other musicians, to discover new charms in these works for clarinet and piano. The ensemble with pianist Satoe Doi, with whom he has performed many times, is also a must-see.
