Description
New territory, new evolution
As a key extension of the Matrix Audio ecosystem, the SI-1 not only reinforces the brand’s ongoing commitment to precision engineering but also opens up new possibilities for cleaner signal paths in streaming audio systems.
Working in synergy with other components, it enhances overall system performance, actively elevating sound quality and strengthening the very foundation of audio reproduction.
A Cleaner Sonic Foundation.
The Audio Grade SI-1 Network Isolator features active optical-electrical isolation technology, which effectively blocks electromagnetic interference generated by network routers and switches.
By purifying network noise that can interfere with audio signals, it also breaks ground loops and prevents current noise caused by ground potential differences between devices.
The result is a profoundly “black” background, allowing music to emerge with greater clarity and purity.
Precision in Every Detail. A dual-channel optical transmission architecture allows for independent send and receive paths, eliminating mutual interference at the source and preventing signal crosstalk.
Two femtosecond clocks, combined with a linear power supply using a double-wound toroidal transformer and multiple LDOs, ensure a stable and clean power supply.
This design guarantees data integrity, reduces transmission errors and phase jitter, improves timing accuracy, and enables the reproduction of musical details with exceptional precision.
Complete protection.
Equipped with two 1 Gbps RJ45 ports (one isolated input and one isolated output), the SI-1 features a physically separate design.
The output port incorporates an electrical isolation ring, which reinforces signal integrity, significantly reduces transmission errors, and completely breaks the electrical continuity between devices.
Against lightning strikes, power surges, electrostatic discharges, or persistent mains noise, the SI-1 provides a robust protective barrier for high-end digital audio equipment, such as network transmitters, music players, and DACs, ensuring peace of mind and uninterrupted listening enjoyment.
CNC unibody housing.
Aluminium casing. The SI-1 continues the industrial design language of the Matrix Audio family, with a CNC unibody aluminium housing that not only offers a premium feel, but also improves protection against external interference.
Front panel LED indicators.
The front panel LED indicators clearly show the device status.
Switchable LEDs on the Ethernet port.
The rear panel Ethernet port LEDs can be switched on or off to eliminate light pollution, demonstrating careful consideration for real-world listening environments and uninterrupted musical immersion.
Precise tuning – A tribute to pure passion.
The SI-1 pays homage to all hi-fi lovers with a heart of pure sincerity. Designed to complement Matrix Audio transmitters, it resonates with the audiophile’s quest for absolute purity.
As an optical masterpiece in the evolution of your system, it ensures that every passion for superior sound is brilliantly realized.
