SME has developed a new integrated precision turntable the Model 6 which has launched in September 2020.
The Model 6 is the result of many months of dedicated design and engineering excellence creating a truly remarkable integrated turntable. The critical aspect of maintaining the definitive DNA of SME has successfully been achieved coupled with traditional SME craftsmanship and the introduction of technically advanced new materials.
An improved version of the highly acclaimed SME M2-9 tonearm finished in an all new black chrome finish has been developed especially for the Model 6. The turntable chassis is CNC machined from premium grade high density specialty material providing a high mass, small footprint and low profile delivering a unique audio performance and modern look. In addition the Model 6 is equipped with a new generation highly sophisticated speed control unit providing electronic speed adjustment directed from a rotary control wheel with precise functionality.
